«Asterix and the Magic Carpet»
Reflecting the plot of the album of the same name ("the eponymous album," as the most learned druids would say), this game was an opportunity to combine action and adventure to the most thrilling effect.
Between the old-fashioned pleasures of Roman-bashing (or bashing in general!) and the need to make intelligent strategic decisions to influence the course of the game, the player is hardly likely to get bored. His journey takes him to Persia, India and Greece, and includes a flight over Rome on a magic carpet as well!
And, on lucky days, Obelix may even have the pleasure of meeting up with the guys he enjoys roughing up most: the Pirates!
