«Asterix and the great rescue»
The Romans have outdone themselves this time! They've kidnapped Getafix and Dogmatix! Asterix and Obelix must embark upon a long journey to find and rescue the hostages.
At each level of play, you can choose which of the two inseparable companions you want to control. Each offers specific skills. Asterix is agile (he can squat down to get through narrow passageways), ingenious (wait until you see him using the magic he picks up here and there) and can leap and run all over the place.
As for Obelix, he is, in a word, strong! It's up to you to opt for the best Gaul for each level of play. Six levels await you: a Gaulish village, a Roman camp, the forest, Germany, a Roman galley and, finally, Rome.
Each level is the realm of some fearsome and extraordinary boss, who must be dealt with in the end. Judge for yourself: a bear, a fortress, a pirate, a steamroller and even Cacofonix!
Given the context, it's only normal for you to have access to weapons which the Gauls don't usually encounter: balls of fire, magic clouds, the ability to don a disguise which makes you invisible, and the power to levitate! These Asterix video games are crazy!
