«Asterix and Obelix»
Alone with Asterix or Obelix, or with them both, travel through the Roman Empire to bring Caesar a souvenir from each country you visit. This is the plot of a game whose script is quite similar to "Caesar's Challenge," which was also available back then on CD-I, PC and Mac.
But there are significant differences in form: the adventure focuses on Asterix and Obelix and the many action scenes are designed to delight experts in the handling Nintendo joysticks, and later those of PC, Gameboy, etc. (Indeed, this game eventually became so successful that it was gradually adapted to a number of different consoles and platforms.)
In addition to enabling you to travel widely, this game also gave you an opportunity to experience some memorable adventures: rescuing a Breton rugby team locked in the Tower of London and then playing an epic match against the Romans! Meet up with Zurix in Helvetia and test the strength of his bank vaults, which are reputed to be unbreakable; participate in three events at the Athens Olympic Games; rescue Huevos y Bacon by playing the part of a toreador in Hispania… A superb programme for a successful journey, wouldn't you say?
