In their own way the authors are showing their fondness of Caesar. He had greatly inspired Ren\u00e9 Goscinny through his book\u00a0The Gallic War<\/i>, and Albert Uderzo had refused to caricature him. Moreover, he said \u00abCaesar really marked history, while his heir, Augustus, gave his name to a clown<\/i>\u00bb! (In French Augustus is \u2018Auguste\u2019, the name given to a type of clown).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
