The authors provokingly give us entirely white or black pages cheekily justified by mists or fog. Perhaps this is a memory of Pilote days and the spirit of rebelliousness.<\/p>\n

Be that as it may, the pages with the Indians are delicious, and the gobble-gobbles priceless. When Asterix and Obelix discover the New World, they don\u2019t do things by halves. And so the album, which sees them blazing a trail through territory belonging to Oompah Pah the Indian (another Goscinny and Uderzo character) has benefited from an American translation alongside the traditional English one. The same goes for\u00a0Asterix the Legionary<\/i>,\u00a0Asterix at the Olympic Games<\/i>,\u00a0Asterix in Britain<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0Asterix and Cleopatra<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Some character names have changed too. For instance, Vitalstatistix in the English versions becomes Macroeconomix in the American.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
