The Astérix L'Intégrale Collection
The Asterix albums offer a wealth of adventure and fun, transmitted from generation to generation for more than 50 years, by Toutatis! Who can deny that a tear doesn't come to their eye when remembering the first time they discovered this terrific universe of gags, puns, awesome drawings and astoundingly clever scripts? Even better: each re-reading reveals a new play on words or visual detail that escaped you before - just one more sign of the brilliant gifts of René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. These two druids of modern times actually invented the magic potion of comic strips!
But here's the rub: all this reading and re-reading, sharing the albums with youngsters or friends who never remember to return them (and who can blame them?), is hard on the bindings, which wear out faster than the gags and drawings within....
The ideal would be to have a complete collection, in a deluxe bound edition, which would preserve the albums from the hardships of time... But you might as well sit and wait for the sky falls on our heads! That's where you're wrong! Because here you have it, in the original French version: the Astérix L'Intégrale Collection!
Published by France Loisirs with the authorisation of Les Editions Albert René, the Astérix L'Intégrale Collection comprises 18 double albums of the Adventures of Asterix the Gaul. And to top things off, the collection also offers a set of 18 portrait albums, each with 48 hitherto unpublished pages, presenting detailed descriptions of 18 of the leading characters from the series, from Asterix himself to the notorious Tortuous Convolvulus!
Hurry up and take a look below to discover the covers of the 36 titles that make up the collection, along with a selection of pages from inside the albums.
