Based on the work The Big Fight and with elements from How Obelix fell into the magic potion when he was a little boy by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. |
The year is 50BC. Gaul is entirely occupied by the romas. Well, not entirely… One small village of indomitable gauls still hold out against the invaders.
A brave Gaul fears only one thing: that the sky may fall on his head… which is rather unlikely. But with Obelix around, the unexpected drop of a menhir is always a possibility!
And that’s exactly what happens to poor Getafix, who was hit right inthe head by one… The shock causes him to lose his memory. Until he regains his senses, the Village, deprived of its magic potion, remains at the mercy of an attack.
This is the perfect moment for Caesar to put his latest plan into motion. He appoints Cassius Ceramix, a Romanized Gaulish chief, to challenge Chief Vitalstatistix to a big fight. If Vitalstatistix loses, the village will fall under Cassius Ceramix’s control, and thus into Roman hands.
It’s not the best time for our favorite chief to fall off his shield!
