Why not infiltrate the little Gaulish village building a modern housing estate? That’s the plan thought up by trendy Roman architect Squaronthehypotenus to help Caesar crush the indomitable Gauls.
Will the villagers be tempted by the chance to making money when the first Roman tenants move in? And what about the Gauls’ secret weapon? Roll up to see the Roman remains!
The authors continue to dazzle us with ideas that they give to Caesar: property developers are trying to take our Gauls for a ride. And what if this were happening to us?
This is the album in which Dogmatix’s ecological sensitivity is firmly established! Every time a tree is uprooted, Obelix’s little dog dissolves in tears. The Village charter is set up.
It would seem that today’s architects have been impressed by the feats of their predecessor Squareonthehypotenus. This is borne out by a 16-page promotional brochure called «Scope: The Magic Post» («Scope: Le poteau magique» in French), which uses some of the adventure’s themes and images and was published by the French civil engineering company PPB-Saret in 1982. There is also a much rarer special edition put out by the public relations agency CIA, that organised the campaign.
